I was just reading a new post over on ConcrteLoop.com and learned of Ernie Barnes Ernest Eugene "Ernie" Barnes Jr. (15 July 1938 – 27 April 2009)passing. Most may remember seeing his art featured on the 70's sitcom Good Times,J.J.'s paintings were actually created by Mr. Barnes. The series helped to make the artist and his distinctive style famous.
